3130, Have you specially devoted yourself to the lay-out and construction of tube railways? ---

I have.

3131, How long have you been connected with Mr. Gattie and the New Transport Company? ---

Since July, 1917.

3132, Were you then called in to prepare certain plans? ---

I was.

3133, You have had some of your plans approved in the past, have you not? ---

Yes.


3134, Were your plans for a high-speed tube railway from Woolwich to East Ham approved by the Borough Council of Woolwich and the Corporation of East Ham? ---

Yes.

3135, I believe you have been consulted by the Corporation of Glasgow with reference to the provision of tube railways in that city? ---
