 3351. Yes? --- It is not so important as it looks there.

3352. Possibly not, but still there it is of that size? ---Yes.

3353. There, again, if you do not do it cut and cover it would be s biggish business with the Local Authority? --- How do you mean?

3354. Cutting a street of that dimensions? --- They will not have any of the trouble of it.

3355. Sometimes they think traffic is impeded, and things of that sort? --- If there happens to be any question of traffic --- which I do not think will be the case --- along that street, it is easy to cover it in the day and to work at night, as was done at the Bank when the Central London was made.

3356. The working of the tubes is not your job --- you are an engineer? --- Yes.

3357. How the traffic is to be worked in and out is not your job? --- No.

3358. You simply put the tubes there and they must work them out? --- Of course, I have to take into consideration how the working is to be managed.

3359. Have you considered how the working , say of the Midland and great Northern traffic in and out of this? --- As it affects the Midland and Great Northern?

3360. Yes? --- No, I have not considered it from that side.
