Treated like a Prince
Mr. Chalmers Kearney the Australian who had been engaged on enterprises for the Soviet. Informed a representative of the "Sunday Sun" that if his plans for an underground railway now being carried into effect, were successful large sums would be spent on transport facilities in 1933.
"There has long been intense opposition to my scheme" declared Mr. Kearney. "This attracted the attention of the Soviet to my railway and they invited me to Moscow".
"I was treated like a Prince and given 100,000 roubles for expenses, I was entertained and supplied with a motor car and chauffeur and accommodation in a luxurious suite.
