GOVERNMENT AFRAID OF BREAK OF GUAGE PROBLEM

Because Kearney railways would accentuate the break of guage problem, it is considered in Government circles that the company's proposals will not be accepted.

Reports on the offer of the Kearney High Speed Railway Company to build lines in New South Wales have been prepared by the Works and Railway Department's, but have not yet been before Cabinet.
