After the brilliant success that attended the praiseworthy and untiring efforts of the Lord Mayor of London, Sir David Burnett to raise funds to secure the Crystal Palace and it's grounds as a national property for the use of the people forever. It is not surprising to find such a wide influential and enthusiastic interest being now created upon Mr. Elfric Wells Chalmers Kearney's high speed railway to bring the Palace within easy reach of central London. The project essentially becomes one of paramount importance to the city and in order that more general information regarding the scheme than has already appeared in the newspapers might be laid before the general public one of our representatives this week sought a chat with Mr. Chalmers Kearney at 200 Victoria Street Westminster where the Kearney High Speed Railway Company Limited have their office. Mr. Kearney recognizing the great interest the city authorities and city men had in his scheme readily aquiessed in a request to supply us with the particulars and photographs from which our readers will be able at a glance to fully realise and appreciate the importance of the whole project.
